IMG 953112 August 2012: APOAAS is regularly organising a Bloodletting drive to help save lives. Annually, Singapore needs about 100,000 units of blood to treat the ill and injured and sharing the gift of life is something an APO is always prepared to do. So be healthy my brother and Sister and see you again this coming December 2012 for the next Bloodletting @ HSA Singapore by APOAAS.

July 19 to 22, 2012: It was late night on the 19th of July when the NEB delegates arrived at Singapore from Manila. A warm welcome greeted them at the airport as they all make their way to Costa Sands Downtown East Resort. The reception followed with a sumptuous dinner and what more a good way to start off the event but with a fellowship on the first night. The next day followed with the Executive Council meeting, a full day of mind twisting and hypnotising agenda; at least for me..

114th PIDCPhilippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) Singapore June 14-17, 2012, these are the dates that the Filipino community in Singapore gathered and celebrated the 114th Philippine Independence Day. Four days of fun and laughter, celebrating together with our fellow kababayans! It was at the Suntec Tropics Atrium where it all happened, exhibitor booths, countless performances from our fellow OFW's, Kapuso and kapamilya guest artists, Band performances, and to top it off..performance from the legendary Juan dela Cruz Band.

With the support of the Brothers and Sisters of Alpha Phi Omega,  "The First Pabahay ng APO - A National Project" by the National President Brother Jimmy De Castro and IPNP and BOD Vice Chairman Brother Mel Adriano was a success.

In just a matter of months the project was able to accumulate a cash donation amounting to Php 100,140.00 which helped build a home for Brod Rogelio "Eyo" Encomienda, Phi Chapter, Batch 1965.

There were also donations in kind which greatly helped on the constuction of the new home. This initiative proves the solidarity of the brethren and shown that we are always prepared to help, always there unselfishly to provide in any way possible to lend a helping hand to fellow brother or sister of Alpha Phi Omega.
